The creation- revision of the Bible

48 hours performance on a small boat, Canal Neukölln, Berlin (2012)

KG Augenstern showed their revision of the Bible. The original text of the creation was transcribed into colours, sounds and actions in a synaesthetic way that makes it understandable through all languages and cultures. Re-enacting the creation, the artists stayed 48 hours on a small boat. The canal was illuminated by candlelight. More and more spots in different colours where applied from the boat along the banks, in a code, that followed the text of the bible. These colour patterns were  played as an ongoing music melody on the boat.
